This is adaptation of code i did for TES Skyrim to reduce memory usage of the game and to fix most CTDs (crashes to desktop) because of "out of memory" issue when many mods installed. However, a lot of the popular ones for New Vegas, IMO, suck ass, and even the best presets have a lot of flaws.
Today, we’re focusing on making Fallout: New Vegas (although a lot of these mods work with Fallout 3, too) beautiful, while also keeping it playable on modern computers. This post will be linked when the recurring "suggest me some mods" question pops out every other day. New Vegas has some of the best companions seen in a Fallout game, but we’ll never refuse additional buddies, provided they live up to Obsidian’s quality bar.
